Thinking About Fishing

Welcome to best fishing lure info. I am just sitting here thinking of what to write to you about. As I was checking out the TV channels I came across a fishing show on the Discovery channel. So I started watching the show. It was taken place 300 miles off of the Newfoundland coast line. The weather was raining, very windy, with swallows as high as there boat was. The good thing was that the fishing was excellent as they had over 4,000 pounds of fish in the boat. On the other boat the Seahawk they are also catching fish as the deck is getting filled up with fish, but the weather is getting bad, but they have over 3,000 pounds of fish for the day.
They are fishing for swordfish which sometimes can weigh up to 1,000 pounds. So whether you are surfing the TV channels or the internet you never know when you will come across a good fishing site or show to watch.
Take a look at amazon.com for interesting things about fishing or things you may need to buy for your next fishing expedition.

Hawkeye Fish Locator

Unlike the Humminbird RF35, the Norcross Hawkeye can actually detect the fish!

I've used both, the Humminbird works fine as a depth finder, but has difficulty detecting fish. The Hawkeye, on the other hand, sees them so you can catch fish with the best fishing lure.

Case in point, on a recent trip to our favorite lake, we were looking for bass. According to the Hawkeye there weren't any fish when we checked their usual holding spots. When we finally moved over to the channel the Hawkeye started detecting fish (and we caught a few). Apparently the heat made the fish move to the deeper parts of the lake. So you can see that the Hawkeye is a must have when it comes to choices of fish locators. Without the Hawkeye we probably wouldn't have caught a thing!

Also, the Hawkeye uses plain old AAA batteries, unlike the Humminbird which uses an expensive lithium-ion 2450CR watch battery

Sunday Fishing

Hi there, Here is your story from best fishing lure for last Sunday. Took my pontoon out on the lake at 7:00. Started out with my favorite fishing rods and reels to try to catch some crappies. Put a minnow on my pan fish jigs and threw them out in the water to try my luck. Fishing was a little slow at first then it started to pick up as I caught five crappies in a matter of ten minutes. I thought this is going to be a good for fishing but that ended up being the last crappies I would catch for today. But the day still had some fun left as I caught a smaller catfish a while later. I was just about to quit for the day when my bobber went under. So I started to reel the fish in but it was hard to make any headway. Slowly it started to make it's way up to the top then it would dive back down. It was putting up a good fight and was fun playing with it and not knowing what kind of fish it was. In the meantime it got caught up in my other fishing line that was out in the water. Finally I got to see the fish it was another catfish but much bigger than the first one I caught. It had made a mess of my fishing line from the other fishing rod. I finally got the catfish in the pontoon and got the hooks out then released it back into the water. It sure made a great way to top off a morning of fishing.

Garmin Fishfinder

The Garmin 160C Portable Fishfinder (Dual Beam)]Garmin 160C is quite easy to use and it works well not only locating fish but the constant depth reading has saved my boat being hung up in shallow water areas where I fish. The optional audible alarm that I added was a plus as well so you can hear the warning of fish and depth audibly as well as see on the screen both fish and water depth situations.
A great addition for your fishing experience. Take this with your best fishing lure and find your favorite place on the lake to catch fish. Look for this bargain at amazon.com and start catching fish today.

The Best Fishing Lure Story

Here is a story about a fisherman and his day on his favorite lake. One day the fisherman went to the lake to try his luck at fishing walleyes. Walleyes are his favorite fish to go fishing for.
It was a nice sunny day in June when the fisherman took his best fishing lure along with his favorite fishing rod and reel to the lake. It was early morning when he landed his boat on the lake. He put in minnow on his walleye jig and let it go to the bottom of the lake to start jigging for walleyes. After a slow start he caught a couple little walleye to keep his hopes alive for catching a nice walleye. With the sun shining and warm temperatures it was not hard to sit there and enjoy the weather while he fished for walleyes.
After about four hours all of the sudden the end of his fishing pole bent over very much. He pull up hard with his pole and knew he had a fish on. It was hard to reel the fish in so he had to work the fish slowly reeling in whenever he had a chance to. After about five minutes he finally got to see the fish in the water it was a nice walleye. So he grabbed his net and got ready to land the walleye. He landed it with no problem and was glad for this day of fishing.
The walleye weighed six pounds and was 28" long what a nice fish. So went back to the boat landing and loaded his boat up for the return trip home. On his way home he thought about how all his fishing gear had been purchased at amazon.com. What a great day!!
